Missing Customer Barcodes in Point of Sale

To select a Customer in the Sales View the customer needs to have a barcode (or an error will be given). If a customer does not have a barcode you can force the system to add the barcode:

Instead of selecting the customer from the list using the orange button, start to type in the name you are looking for and then select it from the quick lookup list that appears below:

When it then pulls this customer into the Sales View it adds the barcode to the Identity file and allows you to continue with the sale:
