Hidden Shares with Web App

Research has show that Webapp often has problems accessing data on a hidden shared drive. The shares, typically indicated by a trailing $ (such as \\pcschool\data$) generally cause “Filelist not where the workspace expects it to be” type errors, even though it appears that the user has been given permissions to access this share.

PC School recommends against using these type of shares with Spider and Webapp.

The above information is for users of PCSchool Student Management School Software.
